Alden Burgess and David Typermass, the co-creators of What is she to you?, met in an acting class. Both passionate about film and acting, Alden and Dave vowed to make a movie together. They wanted to make a film that would not only be entertaining but also would have the highest quality acting and aesthetics they could afford. For their first film, which they financed themselves, Alden and Dave wanted to capture the realism of improvisational acting, using long takes and two cameras. Their goal was to create a compelling story in which to place their actors and then let the actors experiment with their characters over several weeks of rehearsals.

The success of their first film has galvanized Alden and Dave to raise the bar for their next project. The two are currently in discussions with several writers who are working on scripts for their next film. They are also in the process of forming a limited liability company, which will house their production company as well as their fundraising, marketing and distribution divisions.
